Guys, Myself and my wife are planning to travel from Pittsburgh to FL
Orlando , FL Miami in car. We are mainly planning to visit Disney
world. Can you guys suggest me the precautions that I have to take
while travelling in Car? This is my first long trip in USA. Is it
preferable to drive during night times? If we have to sleep outside,
Is campsite is safe place to sleep? Also please suggest me some good
family campsites in Orlando and in Miami. Do we have to book them in
advance? We are planning to stay for a week. I appreciate If you tell
us good site seeing places  in Orlando, Miami and  along the journey
from Pittsburgh to FL.

What is the difference between private and public campgrounds?

Travel during the day so you see the countryside as you travel,
because there are beautiful vistas along your route.

A private campground is privately owned and a public campground is own
by some government entity, such as National Forrest Service, National
Park Service, State Parks & Recreation (all States), and many cities.
Public campgrounds accommodate tent/lean to campers better than
private campgrounds. All campgrounds are safe in the US with rare
exceptions.

You can camp in Fort Wilderness inside Disney, just phone and make
reservations.  You won't have time for Miami unless it"s the drop off
point for the auto.
