I apologize if this has been discussed before. I am new to this news group.
Does anyone have any experience towing a PT Cruiser ?
Any advice, warnings suggestions or comments would be appreciated. I am not
an experienced RV owner and have never towed a vehicle before.
Thanks in Advance

Are you looking to tow with a PT cruiser as the topic implies, or towing
a PT Cruiser as a toad with an RV?

I guess I should have been more specific. It will be the towed vehicle. I
forgot to mention that is an automatic so I would have to disable the front
wheel drives or use a dolly.
I am not familiar with the term "toad" does that mean that is the towed
vehicle?
Thanks for your response.

Yep, towed = toad.  Some people call the towed vehicle a dinghy.

Send me a real email address & I'll but you in touch with someone that
has towed a PT Cruiser all over the US & Canada. They have thousands
of mile experience.

BTW, most usernet posters think they are saving themselves form
hundreds of spam emails by using bogus email addresses, but they are
not.  In the past year, I've gotten 4 emails that were not from
newsgroup posters using my real email address. How do I know this?
The email address I use for newsgroups is used nowhere else!!  The
email address that gets the most spam email is the one that friends
and family have. You know, the on where they all forward all those
chain emails that have already been forwarded 10 times and have
hundreds of email addresses for the scammers to gleam at once!!

The PT requires a transmission pump. Go to www.remco.com they sell
them. I have a good friend that tows one behind his MH.

Matt, thanks for your help. I did not know that Remco made a pump, I thought
that they only provided transaxle disconnects. This looks a lot better.
This is the website where  I found the info:
