Now, I've seen it all. The other day while I was on a hundred mile training
ride on my bicycle I saw a giant RV the size of a Greyhound bus pulling a
double-decker trailer with a motorboat on top and an RV on the bottom.

How can anybody these days justify that huge carbon footprint and the greed
represented by this RV abomination. It smacks of self-centered greed and a
total disregard for the environment. It is irresponsible and stupid.

I read this and I know you have been labeled as a troll but this rant
brought back a memory along these same lines.  Here in WV we had about
a $3 billion unfunded liability in the state retirement system for
teachers, which has subsequently been reduced but it was about $3
billion at the time.  Anyway the administration at the time, 1998 or
there abouts was looking at the possibility of selling bonds to fix
the problem.  I was talking to several people on a road trip one day
about the issue.  Several of them had children and were in their mid
to late twenties.  They could have cared less even though I tried to
explain to them that there children's, children's, children would be
paying on that if they let the legislature/administration do it.  So
my question to you is, why should I give a crap if someone is
"irresponsible and stupid"?  I have no children, single and from
family history, I will probably be dead within the next 10-20 years.
If the people that should give a crap about things that are
"irresponsible and stupid" don't, then I sure as heck don't feel any
compulsion to save their butts.  My guess is that there will be
adequate resources to be available during my lifetime and when I am
dead and gone, it will be someone's problem.

Well said that man! Unfortunately there are people who just don't care.
There are even some delusional fundies such as Dimwitted Dave who think that
by destroying the environment they'll speed up the second coming: Believing
in it is the first mistake; but using it as the excuse for selfishness in
the form of environmental vandalism just puts the cherry on the icing of the
fuckwit cake!

It really IS criminal the carbon footprint caused by these huge RV's the
size of a tractor trailer rig going up and down the highways in the USA
spewing pollution and greenhouse gases in the name of pleasure. People who
drive them are obviously hypocrites - for the most part, fat hedonistic
twerps with no respect for the environment or their fellow man. Me, me, me
and future generations be damned!

As for being fundies, I doubt it. Most of these RV driving criminals are
godless morons of the highest order. They are doing the work of the devil.
Hastening the demise of God's creation.

Unfortunately and normally without realising it fundies do "the work of the
devil" by default in many different ways; such as in addition to
environmental destruction there is total overbearing control of the persona;
repression of natural humanity, terrorisation by suggestion...and much more.

Most fundies *are* hypocrites anyway; so it wouldn't be surprising to find
that a lot if not most of these selfish fat me-ist types are fundies of the
DiLV variety or similar.
