April is Propane Danger Awareness Month.
Did you know:
1) Propane fires and explosions are the number one cause of insurance claims
to GMAC.
2) Billions of dollars damage and destruction to homes, offices and other
buildings is due to propane explosions and fires in the United States.
3) Propane fires and explosions are the leading cause of death in the
utility field - (water, sewer, electric, telecommunications, fuel)
4) Installing a propane leak and carbon monoxide detector in your RV could
save your life.
5) Having a semi-annual propane leak inspection done by a professional could
save your life.
6) Carrying more than two, 20 pound tanks of propane in or on your RV is
illegal in many states and soon will be illegal in all states when federal
legislation that addresses this issue passes (probably right after the
current congressional recess).
Be aware of the ever-present dangers of propane. Don't become a crispy
critter.

Thanks for the heads-up. That's good information to know. I had no idea it
was so dangerous. Guess I'll get my RV checked by a professional before
heading out next month.

Now that Troll Harry Hairass has been plonked by everyone on the

This is incorrect, many rigs are equipped with 30# tanks. In addition I
carry a single 20# tank as part of my outdoor grill. I also have a third
30# tank I use when at a long stay, like for the winter period. I know
of no restrictions on propane tanks other than in some tunnels and ferries.
