March is Deep Vein Thrombosis month and RVers are a high risk group.
http://www.dvt.net/

There are a couple reasons for this.

1) sitting behind the wheel for long periods of time with little or no
movement.

2) being sedentary and overweight or obese and the stresses involved with
driving large, pollution spewing motor vehicles.

Did you know that complications from DVT blood clots kill up to 200,000
people in the U.S. each year?

Deep Vein Thrombosis, or DVT, is a blood clot that can form in your legs and
sometimes move to your lungs, where it could potentially be fatal. In fact,
complications from DVT blood clots contribute to more deaths each year than
AIDS and breast cancer combined.

The best way to avoid death from DVT is to lose weight, exercise and don't
sit for long periods of time. Sell your RV before it kills you.

If the propane or roadway accident doesn't get you the DVT will!

I wish you'd stop worrying about the health of these bully RVer morons.  The
more of them that blow themselves up with propane and die of the DVTs the
better off the world will be. What kind of selfish societal reject drives
around in a greenhouse gas spewing vehicle the size of a Greyhound bus and
thinks he isn't harming the planet?

This while he and she stuff their already obese bodies that they have a
difficult time heaving up out of the captain's chair until they also become
a burden on the health care system and drive up insurance premiums for all
of us. Why should we fit people have to pay for these disgusting, hedonistic
fat slobs? Why should we allow them to drive up the price of gasoline and
diesel because of their selfish and extravagant demands for it?

Ban RVs! The only thing that should be allowed is the small ones that fit in
the bed of a pick-up truck and even those need to have a large environmental
tax of maybe 25% added to the sale price.

Maybe it has something to do with their prolonged exposure to propane.

You HAVE to be kidding!  Deep Vein Thrombosis?

You poor saps just don't get it:  Don't reply to trolls and they'll go
away.

The creeps that remain here do so simply because there are enough others
here that just can't help themselves and must rise to the trolls' "bait"
and are compelled to reply.

Phase One of <news:alt.rv> Clean-Up is complete and successful:  The
trolls are almost invisible.

We now begin Phase Two:  Those that reply to trolls will become
invisible (kill-filed) rendering invisible the trolls AND the spineless
saps that cannot help but reply to them.

> Maybe it has something to do with their prolonged exposure to propane.

Sadly, if you ever post something about RVing, it won't be seen.

Oh, well...

You have no idea how much that worries me.

But - but - but - YOU replied to one of them. If it were anybody else
but you, they'd be entering my filter right about now <g>.

Sorry to intrude (and to use this ID to evade your probably killfile),
but why not post an occassional "Please do not reply to these listed
Nutters"?
It's worked elsewhere as not everyone may be currently aware of these
fools

1.  You use more than one identity?

2.  Your other identity is probably in a killfile?

Either one raises questions.  Taken together and it stinks to high
heaven.

Hmmmmmm...  An interesting idea.

I've been doing this since the days of 2400 baud ("high speed") and
never seen such a thing.  Still, it's an interesting idea...

Sorry about that, GB.

I spent the last week or so rebuilding my system and newsreader
killfile.  The trolls that are SEARED into my psyche hit the file
immediately.  I was (am) less sure of those that just REPLY to them, so
they survived the first cut.  You won't see me replying to them again.
