I recently read a thread on rec.autos.tech and they said the
following. Don't know if it applies in your situation.. My knowledge
stops there, but you may want to check further.
QUOTE
He means he needs a GOOD scanner like a Tech 2 or a Genesis so he can
cycle the ABS unit to purge it of air. Without the Scanner he cannot
purge the air out of the system and make the brakes work properly. If
he
is an actual mechanic with a shop and doesn't have one I would find a
better shop. You need the proper tools to do the job.

This topic was discussed to the point of insanity here and in RORT
some time back. The Best Advice is to Read and Follow the Freaking
Manual for your particular vehicle. If you insist on listening only
to people who've done it regardless, enjoy.

Why did you reply to this post? The original poster wanted replies
from someone who "actually" changed out the brake fluid on a E450. How
many times have you done it, or can't you read?

Sill just don't get it. Like his fight with the OZ over air pressure. OZ was
right but Sill just could not let it go.
