Better recalculate that into dollars per mile so we can compare
apples to apples.

I'm not sure that's a good number. The previous MB diesel wasn't
doing quite that good and I have read that the pollution re-design
lost it some mileage. That was on the Sprinter van, so the RoadTrek
may have better aerodynamics.
Just divide diesel gallon cost by gas gallon cost to get a ratio.
Example diesel@ 3.90, gas@ 3.60, ratio 1.08; so 25mpgd/1.08 is 23.08
mpgg.

I see where "Mr Krebbs" <krebbs@energy.com>, the same troll who claims
to want something stronger than coffee to keep him awake on a
coast-to-coast run in 2 days, comments that:

If it's downhill w/tailwind all the way, no problem. The key word is
"advertised". Locally, diesel fuel is around $1 higher than RUL, BTW.

Neighbor lady has one. She claims 15 to 22 depending on which way the wind
is blowing. (her words not mine)
Nice rig for her needs I'd go nuts with all the grand kids on board.

25 mpg? Why, that's a crime. What a waste. So much pollution - so little
responsibility for the environment and your own physical well being. People
like you should be shot on sight.

So, you want him to keep driving his 10 mpg guzzler instead of
switching? I just love religious fanatics...

REPLY: Ummmm Pete....everyone has a religion ! You too !
Everyone has a set of beliefs that they follow for thier life
including a worldview. Even if your 'an alleged atheist' , you follow
FAITH in NOTHING that gave us the universe. So please be careful
when you come up with this pop-bashing mantra, for, you are talking
about yourSELF as well . Glad i could be of service . Best regards
Pete.

Differences abound in how much some of us try push their religions
onto other people and how some won't settle for less than 100% of the
way they want it.
