"The Keltie's Bum Steer explosion is a type of incident that occurs with
alarming frequency. According to the National Fire Incident Reporting
System, there are about 2,500 propane fires and explosions annually in the
US, killing about 20 people and injuring about 330 others.

"In many of these cases, survivors report that they never smelled gas.

"The propane industry has known for at least 40 years that propane can lose
its odor under a variety of circumstances."

More at the above link! You are risking life and limb living with propane in
your RV.  Please heed my sage advice and switch to something more safe.

Wow, 20/330!!!!!!

Harry, we really need you to do something about ladders. According to
the American Ladder Institute
http://www.americanladderinstitute.org/ali/press_releases.asp more
than 300 Americans are killed each year and over 500,000 require
treatment for injuries because of incidents with ladders.

Of course even 300 wouldn't make the top 10 in terms of accidental
death causes. Hard to find rankings that even go down to a mere 300,
and I'm reasonably sure that both ladders and Propane are only going
to wind up in the category "unknown/other."

A far more devastating item exists that, according to the WHO as reported
by the CDC <www.cdc.gov> caused over 400,000 deaths in the year 2000 alone!

For details, go to <http://www.dhmo.org> .

Another case study on the hazards of  electric vacuum cleaners.  Lobby for
hazard warning labels on these killer devices.

Righto.  Switch to coal; protect your family and house pets.
