Might be beating a dead horse here, but, does anyone know what kind of
mileage I can hope to get in a 2008 Damon Daybreak 3270 Class A - with
a Ford chassis? Have been researching my brains out and can’t find
any mention of MPG’s.
Trading in our 1996 Class C which is lucky to get 9 MPG with a tail
wind.

With either the Ford or Workhorse 8.1 Vortec, expect 7-9 driving/toad
at ~60. Drops fast above 60. Maybe 1/2-1MPG more w/o toad.

In the range of 4 to 7 miles per US gallon, depending on the way you
drive and proper tire inflation.

I had an Allegro 32' on a workhorse chassis with a Chevy big block, pulling
a 4,000# toad, and would get right around 8 mpg. All of our driving is in
the western states between Idaho and Arizona, so that includes lots of
mountains. I generally run between 63 and 65 mph. Now have a DP, but
haven't made a long trip yet.
Depending on where most of your driving will be, and whether or not you'll
be pulling a toad, you could feasibly get close to 9 mpg.
