Haven't seen a motor home with a rear slide, but my sister-in-law has an
Outback travel trailer with a rear slide.

How about the Airstream SkyDeck? That adds a lot of space, assuming good
weather. I haven't gotten to see one up close and
personal, but if I were willing to give up my TT, I think that's something I'd
go for.
Anybody have any experience with it?

Wifey and I are thinking of trading up for a diesel pusher. I asked her how
many slides she wanted on the next one. She quickly responded, "One." That
was the number I was thinking. Our current Mountain Aire has one, and it is
just perfect.
Five?
I have seen them with up to four. Hell, if you are going that big, why not
rent a time share?
In ours, when the slide is in, you can still do all the things you need to
do including walking around and having dinner. With more, you would have to
be extra extra careful to move everything every time, and you wouldn't be
able to move in some areas. Would one work at a time, or would all five go
at once? To me, it just sounds like a poor idea. Great when sitting still,
maybe, but a lot of extra care. Hell, we got only one, and both have
already messed up when it comes to moving chairs, and releasing lock arms,
and all the things that little squeaky nasal voice warns you about. Don't
ask....................
I'll stick with one. MAYBE I could be swayed to one in the bedroom, but
that's it.
Just MHO.

Holy, frijole! I can see right now from looking at the floor plans it would
take me about twenty minutes to crush the TV or kill a dog.

our suncruiser has 2, 1 up front and another in the bedroom area.
with both closed we have access to everything except two drawers in
the bedroom and the space under the bed. and to access that space all
i need do is open the bedroom slide a couple of inches. we love the
extra room provided by our slides and would never want to be without
them.

Rexhal is supposed to be coming with
a motorhome with the whole thing sliding
from the middle.

Not I. I've only seen pictures taken at shows. A discussion on rv.net
about one seen at a show indicated a CCC of just 201 lbs on the gas
model they saw.

The more slides you have the more weight you add, one slide is enough
for me. Don't relish replacing boot seals on 5 slides. Bill P.
