No.   I don't provide private tutoring for someone too busy to read
the NG.

If you are so busy why did you even bother to reply?  Admit it you have
nothing better to do.

Dave, ignore the old fool Will Sill. he didn't get manners
when they were passed out. However, it isn't good to ask for
personal email instead of responses on the newsgroup. What
answers you get back should be shared by all. That's the way
it works.

Best to just post your questions and make it a point to find
your way back for the answers. Even though you could farm
the old threads on Google, a fresh pearl of wisdom may
surface if the owners of those units care to post.

Right now you have to realize there are many practicing
mental masturbation over the current race for the
Presidency. From the volume of political traffic here now,
I'd say their "right" or "left" hands are pretty busy <vbg>.
The "moderates" are able to switch hands without losing a
mental stroke.

SPLUTTER!!!!!!!!!  Please provide a warning before hand?  Beverage on
keyboard and monitor can be somewhat disconcerting :/  This is so
funny!  Alright, I admit it, I'm easily amused!

Sky, who's too lazy to include usual sig line :)

It's OK to ask for an emailed reply, some old Usenet hands email a copy of
thier replies as a matter of course. And it's easy enough to do these days
with a mouse click or two.

Dave,
Before you take the plunge in the world of expensive small Class B van
campers, do allot of looking and asking owners questions.  My wife and I
went to Huntington, IN and had Sportsmobile install in our 2002 B1500 Dodge
van; their seat which folded down becomes a 52x75, a few cabinets, window
screens and drapes. The van had insulation and side walls.  We purchased a
battery operated Porta Pottie.  Later I had the spare tire mounted on the
back door and put 4 large AGM batteries in a steel box below the floor,
where the tire was.  This allows us to have heat from a 12 volt mattress pad
heater.
We sleep in the car parking lots of modern clean truck stops.  There a
husband and wife can take a shower in a clean shower for a mere $5 or $6,
with all the hot water you want. Just ask at the fuel desk for an additional
towel.
Getting back, most owners of Class B's never use the shower or cooktop, but
they pay for it.
Take your time before you buy any size, class, or model; and especially the
GAS MILEAGE.
If you are considering a used model, it may have sat still for a long time.

Does anyone know of a Truck Camper newsgroup?
Paul.

Paul, Thanks for the info and tips.
Ive located a Roadtrek in Iowa which is exactly what ive been looking
for..and only has 14,000 miles on it. ITs a 2002  RT 190 Popular totally
equipped.  Ive researched RT's and talked to many RT owners and have
walked thru a few of them incl. testdrives. Ive seen RT's video on how
they are made, and i feel very comforable with thier incredible design
and engineering that goes into their product.   I will, of course, have
it checked out before i sign on the dotted line . Still has warranty
left on it, and , according to NADA PriceGuides...im buying it at
$3-4,000 under Retail. Unless a better deal comes along, im flying out
on Monday to look at it..and hopefully , drive it back home.

I hope to make a Class B RV Ralley in Berea, Ky. in October with the
vehicle. That looks like alot of fun.
