It's time to grease up the chassis on my Class C (E450). Since the Ford
owners manual is semi-useless, anyone know what type of grease I should push
through the zerks? Any hidden fittings I should hunt for?
Thanks,
Steve

When I asked "what kind of grease" of my ford truck dealer for my F53
motorhome chassis, he replied 'Anything slippery' but added it should be
done every oil change.
I found zerk fittings on 4 U joints (I bought a special pointy tipped
grease gun nozzle for these, and find I prefer it for all fittings as
much less grease is wasted), 4 or 5 on the steering system and 4 on the
front wheel suspension, and 1 on power steering actuator...13 or 14 in
all.

Look into using "high Pressure" grease it will give you much longer
service life and work better too. I use Slick 50 grease but have also
heard http://www.schaefferoil.com/ makes the best grease. You should
also inject enough grease to work out old dirty grease so you have
nothing but clean new grease when your done. So have a box of rags
available too.
