Hi,
Firstly, I am trying to find a stoplight bulb for my Saab. The manual
doesn't specify the model number, I went to Autozone and they gave me
a similar bulb, but with that bulb the stoplight is always on...
Which bulb do I need?
Secondly, I have a new bulb for my fog light, but I don't know how to
disassemble the foglight. Is there a trick to it?
Thanks,
-R.

Is this the rear fog light?

It's the front right fog light.

To get at the front ones, you need to remove the splashguard from under
the car, and then come up at the fog light assembly from the bottom. I
remember it taking me a lot longer than I would have liked.

This must be the stoop/tail yes? In which case, as I understand it
there are two types, both of which have two terminations on the bottom
of the bulb.
One type has the locating pins opposite each other, the other has them
slightly offset. In both cases, the pins are vertically misaligned too.
Sounds to me like the bulb is forced in the wrong way round so that your
tail light power is connected to the stop light terminal.
I see this all the time.
David.
