I have a 2001 9-3 5dr.  The black decal (vertical between the door
windows) is bubbled and chipped on the drivers door.  I am thinking
about fixing it, but realize that for the car to look right I need to
replace all four.  The Saab deal told me the decal was about $10.
They also told me it was a labor intensive fix, they quoted $130 in
labor to fix just one.  Has anyone tried to fix this themselves?  Any
advice for removal?  Seems to me that the door will have to be partly
disassembled to do this right, I don't have a shop manual need some
advice here also.  Thanks for your help.

By the way, it is mostly because of this site that I test drove a
Saab...the most fun car to drive that I have ever owned. Thanks  Dan

I agree - great cars and fun to drive!  I have been driving Saabs since
1985 and currently own two.  I would own four if my wife would let me
:-(  This is not as expensive as it sounds because Saabs do not retain
their resale value.  This bad for the people who buy them new, but good
for the people who buy them used.
