They, and everyone else, are already trying. It's a _very_ complicated
problem. Demands from a petition will only result in "Yeah, we're
working on it, sheesh..." as a response.

There's an ...anti spam petition... which ... collects email addresses...
Anyone else here see a problem?

Not gonna work, friend. I share your pain, but this is a particularly
ineffective approach.

Not last time I checked, but I get a fair amount of spam - 98 or 99%
of which spamcop's filters catch for me.

I do have a tv, and I've been known to use the web, so does that
count?

Are you sure this is not an email harvesting scheme?
