Hi;

Picked up my 2001 9-5 estate last week, and I love it - oodles of torque
from the 2.3 engine, and the seats are *so* comfortable!
Just a couple of little niggles that I hoped some of you more knowledgeable
guys may be able to advise me with.

The cars done 100,000 miles, but seems very fresh and quiet.

* When in 5th gear, I often have to struggle to change down - it really does
stick -is this innocent, or could it signify clutch/gearbox woes?

* As I accelerate, even just gently, I can feel a kind of 'snatching'
sensation through the steering wheel. It's only momentary, but I was curious
as to what it could be.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers

My 2001 9-3 has the same problem, except when changing out of 4th gear rather
than 5th. It seems innocent, as far as I can tell.

Torque steer?
