I just purchased a beautiful 1992 SAAB 9000 CD Turbo Griffen Edition
with 100,000 miles on it. Looks great and runs awesome. However, the
car did not come with the keyless entry remotes and I'm considering
installing one of those remote start/keyless entry/trunk units. I've
heard that this is difficult to do due to the alarm/immobilizer that
comes with the SAAB. I've found a unit from DesignTech that states
that it has a factory alarm bypass.
Does anyone have any suggestions here? Is this even possible? Would I
be better off just going to my SAAB dealer and getting some remotes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Ted Kitch
