Valve Stem Caps

Someone took two of my valve stem caps recently.  The caps weren't fancy,
just the plain metal ones that came with the car.  How pathetic do you
have to be to steal value stem caps?  And why stop at two when there are
four for the taking!?  Not only was the person (or persons, I'm not ruling
out a coordinated effort here) too lazy to go buy a set of caps, but they
couldn't even muster the energy to walk around the other side of the car
to grab the other two.  I just don't get it.

I see that many places online offer locking caps (some even offer the
Giffin logo).  Has anyone tried them?  I might pick up a set, not to
actually prevent theft, but more out of spite for the losers who might try
to take them.  I imagine you can't get much lower than being a valve stem
cap thief who fails at his craft, and I'd like the locked caps to serve as
a reminder to would-be cap thieves of their inadequacies.

Yes

the best ones are from the USA - not the ones with the woodruff key but
the ones with the rubber sleeve that means the caps turn in either
direction without coming off unless removed with the key
morons stole mine for their bike
your were stolen for some sad dork's bicycle,

Personally I would put them in the stocks for a day and throw rotten
fruit at them and ten lashes with a cato'nine tails but then I am very
Conservative.
