No idea, I hope someone can capture it in high quality though. It sounds like they did it up really well!

Oh please tell me they haven't done this.
I hope they used something suitably swedish, like a Boeing 757?

All of this interest in the new ad campaign should be good news for the
ad agency.  But the question is, has Saab sales increased or are people
only interested in collecting the ads? I will admit the ads are
interesting to watch, but I have not been motivated to go the the dealer
and test drive on new Saab - so in this sense it has been a failure.

Hmmm....

Can anyone shed any light on why the current UK 9-3 Sport Wagon ad features a cow
?

I would imagine that the cow is now a symbol of how unique, sporting
and efficient the new GM's err....... Saabs are.

Just a guess

A pictorial example of the handling.
Or was it the optional interior.
Nope definatley the handling.
One BSE raddled old burger factory amply demonstrates how most GM cars
go, once the road curves.

Can anyone translate that into english?  That looks like some of the
gibberish you get attached to the bottom of spam emails.  You aren't a
closet spammer are you, Carl?

I'd hazard a guess he's saying
"most GM cars handle like an old brain-diseased cow round bends"... or
something like that?

My mates daughters comment on the new ads in the UK was spot on, and I
quote.....
"But Daddy, why would anyone buy a car that smokes and makes that much
noise?"

I nearly fell of my chair laughing when she came out with it!

Well, since Saab has sold 35+% more than last year, it seems like it works.
Saab will pass 135,000 sold vehicles this year - best sales ever....

Greetings from a long time lurker and occasional poster.  I recently
returned a  9-5 at lease-end, with the intent of going straight into another
Saab. I had a great experience with the dealership and the vehicle.

I actually like the new advertising campaign, but I recently found a little
glitch that makes me question the potential for sales.  The problem is my
local dealer has almost no new product to show or sell, not good when you
are running a multi-million dollar national ad program.  No 9-5's, no 9-7's,
no 9-3's w/manual trans or the new V6.  Of course, if I wanted a 9-2 base
model there were plenty to choose from! It sure makes you wonder about the
strategy and coordination at the corporate level.  Any potential customer
could spend the waiting time being wooed by rival manufacturers.

Thanks for listening to my lengthy post.

Regards,
Peter F.

Hi Peter.

The problem is the productioncapacity in Trollhättan. They simply can't keep
up.

Henrik,

Let me get this straight,

"Gm fires most of the employees in Trollhättan, specifically at the production line in the factory, then now expects the current staff to be able to provide the same level of output as they used to be able to do with less staff? "Do more with less", okay but then why is GM complaining? They're the ones that shot themselves in the foot.

Hi Henrik,

That may be an issue - you would know better than I, but to compound it by
spending a fortune to advertise unavailable product is just poor planning.
At risk of opening up a can of worms, I will ask the question - why is there
a production capacity issue?  I don't recall a similar problem in the last
couple of years.

Regards,
Pete.

GM fires half of the staff in Sweden, then expects increased productivity?? What gives!!
