knock sensor L.E.D

Hi i have a 1990 saab 9000 cd 2.0 turbo APC/DI and i was wondering what
was the easiest way to hook up a L.E.D to the knock sensor so i know
when it is knocking.

I believe it's pin 17 in the APC-box, and then ground. But google it.  :o)

Pin 19 on the later 25 pin APC boxes.

Pin 19 goes to ground (through pin 5 IIRC) when knock is detected, so the
anode side of the LED needs to be supplied with +12V, say, from the stereo
head unit's permanent live.

I'm not sure which pin it is on the older 14 pin APC units, though.
