Thanks of mentioning your objections.
Sure, please let me know here if you did business with Carter Saab. I
check back every day at midnight as a routine.
Thanks,
Jeremy

It's hard to sort through the noise and easy to miss a valuable reply
for those who don't obsessively check the newsgroups.
I've never understood why people make a stink about it, it's easy enough
to click Reply All instead of Reply.

This newsgroup is pretty quiet. Replies are organized in threads; easy
enough to just check the threads you're involved with.

*This* newsgroup is pretty quiet, but the majority of those I
participate in are not. My news software allows me to easily flag
threads, but for those who lack that feature or don't know how to use it
I can see why an email CC would be nice.
I'm bothered far more by grammar and netiquette nazis than by most of
the things they complain about.

The reason I am asking is this. Carter Saab VW gives out photo
calendars to their customers after they take delivery. During delivery
a salesman takes a picture of the customer and vehicle and incorporates
this into a calendar.
This is then sent to the customer.
I am in marketing and would like to get one of these. If anyone has one
of these I'll pay for it to make it worthwhile.
Thanks

Have you tried calling and asking where they get them? I'm sure if you told
them what a great idea you thought it was and how impressed you are with it
as a marketing tool they'd be happy to share the info.
If you just want to make one photo calendar, lots of online companies will do
that. dotphoto.com is one example.

I tried that but they won't do it. It has to be an owner. If you know
of anyone that can help let me know.
Thanks

Well, _this_ newsgroup is, after all, where he posted.

(shrug) fair enough. It just annoys me to see someone say "Hi, I want
information but don't value your time enough for me to spend several
seconds to come back and look for it".

Well, it's not like this is a busy group.

I've never understood why people want to treat Usenet as a free
consulting service, instead of something to actually participate in.
