Greetings to all of this great Saab NG:

Advice requested, please.  The heater fan on our 1999 Saab 9-5 SE has
stopped.  I checked the appropriate fuses according to the owners manual but
wonder if their may be a relay or some other component that I may have
missed.  The heating system seems to get charged with heated air, however
there is no fan controls that will circulate the heat.  Sound familiar to
anyone?  Any ideas?  All responses will be greatly appreciated.

This heater malady... now, along with a possible blown tranny... may be time
to move up a few model years.

3 most probable causes.

1. Bad fan speed controller. A royale PIA to replace.
2. Bad fan motor.
3. Bad ACC control head.

Good luck,
Steve Crowe
