All,

I just picked up on this! You got to take a look at these and save them, and post them to your website.

Wow!

A) Who is driving it?

B) Why are they on a normal road with other cars?

I wonder if we're ever likely to see that car in Australia? Probably not,
but it would be impressive and certainly make a bold statement about one
possible direction that Saab could take with future vehicle designs.

The Aero-X actually runs?  SAAB/GM should figure out someway to make
this car!

GM already makes it under the Vauxhall brand.  Google for VX220 and VXR220

Sorry, did not mean to spoil the hope :-(

Uhmmm yes, (sorry making up the rest) Lotus which is owned by a Korean
company which is part owned by GM or something like that.

Not dissimilar practice to the Subaru which became a SAAB.

Proton are sole owners of lotus now. Where there used to be Lotus badges
over everything because of consultancy work, Proton will only allow it
on their own cars and Lotus cars.

Those are very large files - far too large to be uploaded to the galleries
at my site in their native filesizes. So I've re-sized the pictures (which
has reduced the filesize by about 90 percent!) and made them available at:

I've added them to my site here:
http://jerem43.home.att.net/pics.html

I am adding more to the 9-x gallery, but I am at work right now and
cannot upload them. I will have them up tonight or tommorow once I have
coded the pages.

I did resize them to fit on the server. The whole shebang is bigger than
the allocated space I have.

There have been an event for journalists to drive and test the car at the
former Swedish airforcebase in Ängelholm, Scania some days ago and I´m sure
that the pictures are from a gasstation in Ängelholm.

newspaper story)

There has also been a show at the Saab Museum in Trollhättan.

I wouldn't have it, the wheels are difficult to clean...

Not to mention, the tonneau motor must be _very_ expensive to replace.

But seriously though, the panorama view is really very nice, but not very
practical if you want to escape the car in a hurry. And what about ticket
machines when you enter/leave a car park? Sometimes you also need to
open a window to get some fresh air in case something slipped out...

It has obviously been a headache to design a door mechanism which is
consistent with the panorama window, maybe there is a different solution.

Having thought a couple of minutes on how to get in and out of a car with
panorama window, here is my solution.

I assume that it's a sporty type with only two seats. Then it could have a
panorama window extending about half way into the usual front windows. Then
place the side door behind that. The seats could then slide easily on special
strong rails for reaching the door position. Obviously, it should be an extra
mechanism different from the normal seat adjustment, such that the seat
would automatically lock and unlock into the normally adjusted position.
