Interesting but shocking news.

I asked this technician in the U.S.A. who works at a Saab dealership about why he was selling all of these yellow Saab 900 convertibles that look just like the ones on www.saabcatalog.com

His response was,

" I am a technician at a dealership. Saab (GM) is getting out of the accessory business and is selling down all of their old stock"

Wow, this is sad news for sure!! So this answers the question as to why www.saabcatalog.com is so bad, the customer service is worse.

The question is, what does this mean for the future?

The question really is, "does he know what he is talking about? ".

Saab appears to be closing out the items for the old 9-3, & 900 &
9000. Nothing strange about that. They stuff for the later models
seems to be continuing from what I can see.

According to most of the places I call in oz to chase up parts, GM have
changed a lot of the part codes several times (the oil filters being a
classic case) so many of the original part codes for C900, 99 and older
parts don't match what's still in GM's official database! Can make it tricky
to get the right item.

Craig.
