Hi all,

99, 9-3 - the dealer tells me that I have a wire broken off the purge
valve solenoid connector - hence Check Engine come on.

I'm handy, electronics-wise and I can solder this wire, or change the
connector myself? Is this valve in a hard to reach area, engine wise?

Dealer wants 1.5 hours labor to do this (~ $120).

Thanks, Ben

The purge valve should be located at the right strut tower. 2 pin
connector,  2 vacuum lines. Leaning on the fender, looking down it
should be either between strut tower and engine or strut tower and
airbox.

Thanks!

Fixed! For less than 50c.

Thanks again, Ben
