'94 900S rear axle replace - how difficult?

How difficult is it to replace the rear axle on a 1994 900S?

Hi Don,

As a DYI who's done larger jobs at home, I'd go for it, just make sure
you have heavy duty tools (air preferred), and you can lift and secure
the car high enough so that you have enough space to work.

Don,

I haven't done it, but it should be a piece of cake on a FWD car.  Go
pick one up at a junk yard.

At this point ... I'm going to put new tires on the car to buy some
time ... then, after I sell my MR2 Spyder, I'll get the Saab all fixed
up.

It's all about cash flow, my friend :)
