If it's a 4 cyl, he is correct.
If you have not done so, you should replace the serpentine belt and
upper idler pulley every 50K or so. The idler pulleys are known to go
without warning. Also keep your eye on the clutch cable - they are
good for about 50K too.

As far as I know, it has a timing chain. You don't ant to mess around
with that, unless u really need to.
What you need to change is the serpentine belt and it's recommended to
change the tensioner pulley at the same time. I do mine every 100k.
