Does anyone know how to remove the gear knob from a Saab 9-3 2002??? In a 900NG you have to cut it in half (no joke), I would not be surprised if it's the same in a 9-3. The rubber knob of our '95 900SE (conv) came off and I've been looking to replace it with a leather one (+leather boot). The instructions that come with the leather one tell me to cut the old one off. SignatureMH '72 97 '77 96 '78 95 '79 96 '91 900i '95 900SE I found out the answer using my web cam with a bluetooth unit......there are 3 lock lugs that need to be pushed in and that releases the lift up reverse clips.
