Hello all. I am a lurker out here but now I have a question.
I have a 97 900S with about 235K miles. Had a few unexpected repairs
with this car but overall its been pretty reliable.
I am now in the market for another Saab. I am looking at a 9-3
Anniversay Edition. I have to admit that I loved the new car as soon
as I sat in it, but I am trying to remain objective before I spend
nearly $30K. If you would be willing to share your experience (good or
bad) with your U.S. 2005, 2006, or 2007 Saab it would be most
appreciated.
Kind Regards,
John

Actually, the current 9-3 is essentially the same as the 03 and later
9-3's with a few tweaks here and there.
I love my (2) 2003 9-3's.
For a new car buyer (in the US), you will be looking at zero out of
pocket expenses for the next 3 years. That should give you plenty of
time to decide how much you like the new ones...

I have an '06 9^3 Aero and I love it. Powerful, quick with better
handling than my previous '02 Viggen.
Now I also have a Swedish Dynamics Stage 3 upgraded '94 9000 CSE that
is faster and roomier, but without the handling of the 9^3.
No problems to report so far. In fact I was able to convince my boss to
get an '07 Aero.
