I used to have a 9000 CSE, which when it had done about 100,000 miles,
started always trying to send out warm air.
This was apparently fixed by replacing the air temperature sensor in the
dash.

I have a 9-5 now, which has done 108,000 miles, and it is now always pumping
out warm air, even with the temperature selected as 15c (59F) - which is
meant to be quite cool.
A SAAB dealership have tried to fix the problem, and I paid them for an
aircon service (regas etc.) but it's still doing it.
I'm told that there isn't an air temperature sensor in the dash in the 9-5.

Any ideas what could be wrong with it please?

If I set it to 'Low' it blow warm briefly, then cools down and chills for a
while.

900 then a 9000, now a 9-5.
Loved SAAB since I managed to blag an intivation to the launch of the SAAB
99 Turbo at the SAAB N/E dealership as a teenager.

Western SAAB in Newcastle seem to have fixed the problem by replacing
a stepper motor that changes the flow of water through the heater matrix.
Just in case anyone else encounters the same problem.

Peter.
