Brought my 9-5 (2000) in for an oil change. During a routine check they
found the driver's side high beam was out. They say it isn't the bulb or
the relay. Problem will require further investigation. Any ideas what it
could be?

They're fused individually so that would be the first place to check, it's
quite common for the bulb to blow and take the fuse with it!

Check the connection between the wiring harness and the headlight
assembly. It is not an uncommon problem that corrosion occurs there.
Simply disconnecting and reconnecting may cure the problem. If thiat
works, disconnect and spray some contact cleaner on both halves and
reconnect.
