Can you believe it? It seems that a bolt in my 9.3 transmission literally
worked its way out and fell to the road some where.

First gear and reverse were difficult to get into but I mangaged to get to
my mechanic without any serious damage.

Has anyone EVER experienced this or even heard ot it?

Very strange indeed.

First time I've heard it. Not common. Was it worked on at some point?

Sounds like whoever did work on the car might have forgotten to properly
tighten one or more bolts. Is the one that came out in an obvious place or
someone that's hidden from normal view?

Craig.
