Hi, I recently purchased my Saab with only 1 keyfob so i decided t
order a new one through a Saab dealer.  He programmed the new an
existing key fob.  As well, the original one had recently (onl
twice) seemed like the battery was weakining so they also replace
the battery. A day later I cannot start the car with either key fob!
Also see this error message and am wondering if the dealer has don
something wrong as he is not taking any responsiblity for it at al
and the car cannot start for me to drive it to be checked out.  Ver
frusturating!! have not had any starting problems at all wit
original key fob until this happened.  Please advise!  Any hel
appreciated!!  thx  Cind

I'd think this is the dealer's fault. If the car won't start after
they programmed the fobs, then they messed up. You'll have to have the
car towed to them. They should pay for the tow if it's their mistake.

What year is the 9-3? Does the failure message state 'key not
accepted'? Does the vehicle recognize keyless entry commands(lock/
unlock).
