Arrgh! Arrgh!
Jeffrey DeWitt - 06 Feb 2005 15:36 GMT
Oh...my...God...
Mere words can't express my feelings about what has been done to that
poor truck.
IMHO the best thing that could be done to fix it is remove the few (if
any) good Stude parts left and send the rest of that automotive abortion
to the crusher.
And to think, someone thought that was a good idea!

Back in 1953 or so, it would have been "cool" to many, but I didn't like
them then either.<g>

It has some neat ideas built into it, but the builder shows no restraint...
He just kept going, and going, and going...
I like the rear fender lines, but not with the bed top lines..
I'll stop going <g>..

That looks like something Barris would have done! All I can say is that it
is 50s custom gone wild!
When I was a teenage I loved those wild things. Not so much now, I guess we
do outgrow some things. <G>

To paraphrase a famous NGer, " I don't think I would have done it that way".

He really needs a proofreader. I especially like the "Tonto cover" <G>.

It looks like a "collection" of various other make parts that was "adapted"
to the truck.
And to put it onto a Toyota truck frame?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I know I wouldn't have done it that way.

oh, hell. I moved my trash can earlier tonight, and coughed up all over the
rug........
Spencer Hager Jr. - 07 Feb 2005 15:15 GMT
It's different .........
The interior I could grow to like with a few item's removed - BUTT :o)
The rear of the truck is not something I could drive around. Maybe a high
finned late 60's cad tail section 'El Camino style could have worked if the
right line height was achieved on the bed splice.
Who am I to criticize???????
Alot of work went into the project& I respect that.
