What's up with the front wheels, did they drop the body on a frame a
foot too long ?

Looks like the rear wheels are to far forward too, Maybe that's why she's so
cheap! I don't need another Studebaker!---I don't need another
Studebaker!---

Just late model real wide wheels slipped on a stock hub...
Get the tall skinny ones tucked back in where they belong and it'll look all
right.
That much offset looks weird when you turn the wheel.

That Rockne brings back memories for me. When I was sixteen, I had a job at
a gas station. The owner had a 31 Rockne 2dr in one of the service bays
which he was restoring. I began learning body repair 7 mechanic work from
him. He was a subscriber to "the SDC Bulletin", back in the days when the
late John Brichetto & Ken Holste were presidents, and good ready to drive
Hawks were advertised in the $700.00 - $1500.00 range, with give-away parts
prices.
The Aug '72 issue had a letter in it from Chuck Kenney re the problem he was
having w/ his power disc brakes on his GT Hawk, which was solved by
installing the correct m/cyl.
