Hey guys,

I seem to remember a few of you using a NAPA sending unit for you Hawk
gas gauges.  Does anyone still have that part number handy?  Got a
call from a guy in St Louis looking for one.

Thanks,

Lee

We ought to go back and use what Piper used on the J-3's   A
cork and a piece of wire, the higher the wire, the more
fuel. Plus if you did it right, you could dress it up to
look like a radio antenna when it came thru the trunk lid.

BTW the overhead nose trim handle on all Piper Cherokees was
the same window handle used on all  56 thru  58 Hawks.

the NAPA Balkamp # is 701-1574, just remember to measure twice and cut
once.
