Head shaving querie

Straighten me out on something... When a head is shaved, the compression
ratio is increased, right?  However, isn't comp., lowered when you
increase the size of the combustion chamber?

I shaved my head once, and the compression chamber objected.

My beard was unbalanced -- so I was doing a comb over.
That worked great as a dust mask,  but I got tired of the comb over so that's
when I started shaving the whole face.

Actually Tom, compression INcreases when the bore is larger. You have
more volume to compress than you did before.
