What year did Studebaker use the black radio knobs?

1962 Hawk for one, also 1956-?  I think 1961 Larks had them for sure,
otherwise the radios are very similar to 1962

Odd thing is the 62 Hawk radio still had white pushbuttons.

Thats quite a price for a "working"radio,300 opening bid.The old Stude junk
yard near me my buddy Gary Payne owns has lots of cars with old radios in
them, mostly Lark, some Hawk. Those might be nearly the last salvageable parts
from those cars.

At some point it might actually be worth it to go pull the old ones for
the tubes...

Just checked; my radio from my 61 Lark (we bought it new, with the radio in
it) has black knobs.  It's not a push button, has a nice Studebaker script
on the glass. It has a bezel similar to the one in the ebay ad. My 62 Hawk
has a radio like the one in the ebay ad. Jeez, when I went out to the shop
to check, I went through 2 inches of fresh fallen snow!!!!!

Now that I have your attention, does anyone have a pair of decent black
radio knobs that they would sell??
