This car is cursed! The first owner died, the second guy got sick and
had to sell it, the guy I got it from had to sell it to clear a debt so
he could get a mortgage on a house and I can't even sell the fuking
thing on eBay without a glitch!!!!!
AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <G>
I may put it on the caddy powered chassis with the '54 front clip and
let the wife drive it, she's insured for big bucks!!!!
What else could go wrong, eh? <BOSEG>

Well, I did sign the mutual agreement with ebay so you'll get you
listing fee back, and I did e-mail your next high bidder. Maybe he'll
make a offer close to your BIN, than get hit by a truck before he writes
the check. <g>

Well I am running out of things to do on Stan's Speedster. Here's some
of the pidley crap I've been doing.
Adjusted the steering column to get the turn signal canceling to work.
Installed new screws in the door ash trays.
Buffed out a few tiny scuffs in the restored stainless.
Put a 4th coat of Liquid Glass wax on the car.
I've spent more time driving the car around that working on it. I
took the son out for lunch today, he even likes the car. The car is so
clean and polished, you can't touch it without leaving fingerprints, and
I wash my hands before working under the hood. Stan built the only
Studebaker I've owned in a while that does not leak a drop of anything.
(Yes it has oil <g>) Sal is making great progress on finishing Stan's
truck, pictures to follow. BTW, here's the truck as Stan found it:

(Nice straight truck to start with)

GASP!!! You spend more time driving a car than working on it? I
thought that was the whole POINT???

Not for me, the fixing up is the point, I only need to drive to chase
parts and grab a burger.

Can anyone see the injustice in this? I have the car that's half
disassembled and I want to drive it. He has the driveable car and wants
to work on it. TANJ!

(I have an easy solution to that problem however...)
