DO NOT READ IF EASILY OFFENDED.

The following was taken from the June 2001 issue No. 85 of Military Vehicles
Magazine, which included this credit:  "I saw this article in the Alaska
ATC(M) newsletter and I thought I'd share it with you.  Original by Donald
R. Peterson; modified for the military vehicle collector by David H. Ahl
[editor of MVM]."  Further re-modified with a Studebaker twist by Larry
Tholen.

TEN COMMANDMENTS OF OLD STUDEBAKER COLLECTING

I.                    Thou shalt not store thy Studebaker out of
doors-unless, of course, it interferes with thy spouse's new Brand X.

II.                 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's collector vehicle,
nor his garage, nor his battery charger.

III.               Thou shalt not love thy Studebakers more than thy spouse
and children-as much, maybe, but not more.

IV.              Thou shalt not read thy Turning Wheels/The Antique
Studebaker Review on company time, lest thy employer make it impossible to
continue with thy Studebaker payments.

V.                 Thou shalt not despise thy neighbor's Hudson, nor his '38
Harley, nor even his '72 Chevy LUV pickup.

VI.              Thou shalt not allow thy daughter nor thy sons to marry
during the holy swap meet days of York, South Bend or Hershey.

VII.            Thou shalt not deceive thy spouse into thinking that thee is
taking him/her for a romantic drive when, indeed, thou art going out to
tramp through another swap meet.

VIII.         Thou shalt not tell thy spouse the entire cost of thy latest
Studebaker restoration project-at least not all at the same time.

IX.              Thou shalt not promise thy spouse a new addition to the
house, and then use it to store Studebakers; and thou shalt not store
Studebakers in the attic-parts, maybe, but not whole Studebakers.

X.                 Thou shalt not buy thy spouse an engine hoist for
Christmas.
