Different Strokes..... (ot, sort of)

Did a favor for an old friend....
He sold his boat on Ebay and the buyer was down by my way.
So I delivered it for him.
No big deal. Easy favor, saved him about a 1400 mile round trip.
But the cool thing was...
The boat was (is) an early 60's Dunphy wooden 15' with a black Mercury
outboard.
Cute as a button, and in superb shape.
I had to drive extra careful because cars would get up next to the boat (at
76mph) and hang there gawking', and not let me out.
Got high fives and waves from a ton of people. Gas stations were another
trip.
Even had a guy follow me into the post  office to ask about it.
Kind of hated to deliver it <lol>...
