Sasco online ordering system doesn't work?

I've ordered two items from Sasco using the part number in the parts
book.  One was a front bumper (1560772), and the other was an underhood
insulator (1358675).

Both times, it showed the items in stock, took my credit card
information, then I waited.  And waited.  Finally, I called on the
bumper.  I was told they haven't had any of those in years.  When I
called on the insulator, I was told that the person that does the
shipping had been out for a week, but that it was going out that
morning.  I waited two weeks and saw nothing.  I just got off the phone
and was told that they haven't had the insulator in years either.

Why on God's green earth are these items listed as available when they
are not?  I'm afraid to even try ordering from Sasco anymore.  I
finally found an NOS bumper at Stephen Allen's, but haven't looked any
further for the insulator.

Several reasons why it pays to make that free 1-800 call and talk to
somebody.

Like everything else, certain stocks of parts are running out.  With just 4
people working there, it isn't cost effective to go in and delete every
single item as it is depleted.  Take way to much time and effort.

Then they need to do away with the web ordering system.  If they're not
even going to drop someone an email to let them know that they don't
have something, it's not even worth messing with.  Just have your 800
number and go with it.

BTW, I found the insulator and Stephen Allen's and it's on the way.
