Museum Hawk on ebay

The museum Hawk Lee and I sold a year or so back is on ebay. We got 14K
for the car thanks to Lee for posing it in front of the funeral home.<g>
Now it's back on with another few thousand spent, but with a description
that does not match the high level of the car. I e-mailed the owner and
offered to bid if he's accept a 5K non-refundable deposit and the
balance within 30 days. (To give me time to ebay something.) He just
wrote back with a "I need full payment in 7 days"
  Since I won't be bidding, a NG'er might want to think about the car,
it's at least a 14-16K car and you could not restore one for close to
that. I thought I could turn it for a quick buck, but the owner is not
interested in my deal.  Let me know if you're going to bid in case I
figure out a way to come up with the cash,so I can lay off. The car is here:

I also have a good many pictures from (actually) 2 years ago of the
car and the condition it was in then if anyone needs them before
bidding.
