Decided it's finally time to get the Wagonaire up and on the road. I
pulled it into the garage yesterday to put in a new fuel pump and
swapped out distributors with a fresh one I have here (easier than
changing points in the car <G>). Today, it was plugs, a new set of
perfect-fit Brian Scott plug wires, a set of valve stem seals and
adjusting the valves. Some were at .018 and others at .040.... Go
figure! Runs pretty damned good but still room for improvement.
Possibly a 4-barrel is in its future.
Next is going to be to go thru the brake system and tighten up the
rattling rear shocks. All in all, this old '63 is coming together
pretty good. IF I get really ambitious, I might end up driving it up
to SB for the meet in a couple weeks.
BTW, does anyone have a GOOD '63 (all models), '63-'66 wagon or
'63-'64 convertible windshield they want to part with that is coming
to SB?

If you do, that would be great! The '64 and later HT and sedan bodies
have a different windshield though.
