I still have the old gas tank out of my 56 Hawk. It has some pin hole leaks
and is pretty cruddy inside, but could probably be fixed up. Is there a
market for these or should I junk it?
don't shitcan it yet, the C/K tanks were made of unobtainium.
I don't know about a "market" for it. But there might be someone out there
who really needs one badly. Never throw away any salvagable part that is
not being reproduced. There are several outfits who restore gas tanks!

My problem is that my wife doesn't see the "need" to keep an old gas tank.
This all resulted from a weekend task of cleaning the shed and garage. If
there is somebody out there interested let me know. Tank is located about
30 miles west of South Bend. If I don't hear anything in a few days I guess
I'll put it on my "stuff to put on ebay" list (the list that keeps getting
longer every day).

Wimmin should confine themselves to the kitchen and inside in general.
