of a write up on the Georgia State Meet, held last weekend.
Some pix, too.

Hey Dave,
I was at that meet too, as a spectator, and thought it was very well done.
The Marriott has a very nice setting for the display and when I was there on
Saturday afternoon the weather could not have been much nicer. I'm not a
member of the club, so I considered myself lucky to have stumbled on the
show....
A couple of questions though:
There was a guy there from Lawrenceville named Rich with a (to my eyes)
stunning '56 Sky Hawk, black w/ gold interior & aftermarket Cragar-type
wheels. I talked to him a bit, very very nice & interesting fellow,,
unfortunately his wife is fighting the big "c"... do you happen to have any
pics of his car? I was at the show without my camera (damit), and did not
see any of his car on the web site, but would really love to show my wife
that car.
Also there used to be someone that came to the local meets with a '50
Commander, all original, very rough 4 door survivor, I think the story was
that he has had the car since high school in the 60's, and has never done
anything to the car except keep it running,,, I did not see that one this
time... does any one know the car I'm talking about & if it's still
around??
Anyway, it was a fun show & thanks for the link!!
