What did Stude use for a carb on the R3 setup?  I have been told that
when the pressure box is used the carb does not have to sealed.  If so
is the R3 carb the same as the R1?

It does not have to be pressurized, but is not the R1 carb.(No choke,
higher CFM, different jets, linkage arm.)
