Out to the shop early today! Have to finish this group of intake manifolds. Some new equipment has made the process a little quicker and the results are improved. The messy part is done, and now it is 'drill and tap until you drop' mode.... I spoke to Calvin and he is packing for SB and leaving Monday to meander up there, picking up stragglers and hitchhikers along the way (Aladambamians living in Georgia from what I hear <lol>) I will also be leaving Monday, but will be working my way up and back... My stupid digital camera had better show up soon. Jeff Jane has the Lark and the 50 F*** truck all shone up; and we're heading out in a few minutes for the annual Stirling (Ontario, Canada) auto flea market. It's only a half hour drive. Pretty big deal. Rain is imminent, and I've been talking to some of the local SDC'ers and they're leaving their Studes home so they don't get wet!!! Maybe their wipers don't work?? We'll be there early, and Jane will park the Lark front and centre for all to see. Then heading out wednesday towards Auburn, South Bend, and points of interest; dinner at Tippecanoe thursday night. Thursday night and Friday night in South Bend, catch up with Calvin and get a motor/tranny from him (might need a little help from some strong arms). Back towards home saturday the 7th. Then, the following weekend; "Studefest" at Peterborough Ontario Canada. Life is good. |
