I wish I could wrap up South Bend in one post, but those that were
there would not need to read it, and those that were not, would think it
was bull sh.t. <g>
A few high points:
Ted Harbits birthday
Everyone helping Jeff corner the 2 barrel core market.
N8 finding a new $300 T-Bow MOPAR conversion ignition for a $125
Ted's "Pic a park" sale off his truck. ( How about Chicken Hawk steel
tube headers for peanuts ? (Lee and I bought two sets just "because" and
to use on our engine stands)
I scored 4 wind up antenna's, 3 NOS in the box.
Me trying to buy a very nice GT Hawk at the asking price, but the owner
refusing to sell it because he needed to approve of the next owner, not
see it on ebay. Actually the car was so nice, I understood him wanting
to approve of it's new home. He did raise the price by 3K the next day,
but I did not check back to see if that was a open to me deal. <g>
More male bonding than you can talk about. Calvin was a little slower on
his feet, but still 100% Calvin otherwise, Jeff was occasionally busy in
his vendor mode, but spent more time BS'ing with everyone as did all the
NG regulars. I wish I could repeat all the funny stories and share the
fun, but you had to be there. <g>

Any of those for the earlier models? Years ago someone yanked the antenna
and cable completely out of my original '53 windup. I had to replace it
with the later one, but it doesn't fit right.

The are all the later style, will fit, but not quite "right". I bought
them after seeing the damn things going for over $300 used on ebay.
