I think you mentioned it has been converted to 12 volt. If so, maybe a
gas guage since the stock unit is 6 volt.

I'm using a "runtz" on the gas gauge and engine temp gauge, both stock
gauges seem to be working OK. I liked the idea of a trans temp gauge
though, although that would involve dropping that cursed pan *again...*

Why not just plumb it into the fluid line outlet that would got to the
radiator on a watercooled AT car. (If the car has plugs for the lines)
